Located in Fairhope’s Fruit and Nut District, this cottage was lightly renovated and furnished by Jackson Warren’s Aileen Warren as her family’s personal home. Rather than undertaking a full overhaul, the focus was on making targeted updates—refining finishes, improving function, and reworking the interiors to better reflect how the family lives day to day.

Small changes made a significant impact. Floors were refinished, lighting and countertops replaced, and select spaces updated with wallpaper and revised millwork. In the kitchen and baths, existing layouts were improved, while window treatments were simplified to bring in more natural light.

The interiors reflect a practical, collected approach—mixing antique pieces, emerging artists, and everyday materials in a way that feels personal and easy. A study in restraint, where thoughtful edits carry the project.
