Set in Houston, this nearly 5,000-square-foot home was purchased as a fresh start and reworked by Jackson Warren to better suit how the client lives day to day. The project focused on redefining the interiors—layering in new furnishings and finishes while thoughtfully reinventing pieces from the client’s previous home.

Here, the approach leans fully into expression. Color, pattern, and texture are used with confidence, creating a feminine, collected environment that feels intentional. Existing elements were reinterpreted throughout—most notably a custom vanity transformed into a freestanding desk—allowing the home to carry forward a sense of continuity while shifting the overall tone.

Spaces are designed to flex between everyday living and entertaining, from a breakfast table that converts for mahjong to a layout that easily accommodates visiting family. The house reflects a clear point of view—built around what the client already owned, but pushed in a new direction.

“For the first time, I was able to create every single space exactly the way I envisioned it,” the homeowner says. “It was very liberating and freeing.”
